PC is being introduced to a pretty strange range of songs these days.
Yesterday's songs included:
**"I'm a Little Teapot," which plays out of a toy his grandma just bought
**A series of Radiohead tunes, played on guitar and sung by his dad
**our own creation, The "Stinkybutt" Song. This gets five plays per day.
**"Home on the Range" on guitar and sung. Easy and amusing. Grandpa's favorite.
**"Lift Every Voice And Sing," aka the Black National Anthem, sung by his parents in the car to soothe him
Clearly, given these selections, we're not qualified to be parents.
What's your favorite kid's song?

radiohead on guitar. my husband would be very impressed.
favorite kids song... i grew up in the age of disney features, so songs from the jungle book would have to be top choice. also, winken blinken and nod is a good bedtime song. or my dad's favorites, "great green gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts", "just a bowl of butterbeans", and "cold coon and collards". classics.
i would suggest staying away from the wiggles songs if you value your sanity.
Ha! I thought the line was "girls are made of greasy grimy gopher guts." Hmmmmm.....
Ok so I am the big dork - master lyricist (and maybe even vain) :) - As our favorite songs are the ones I make up. Ever since he was a baby, I sing this one that goes "I love Joshua. He's my best friend. He's a donut, wrapped up in a muffin, with a little bit of puddin on his head." There are other verses about how daddy loves joshua and everyone...and so on.
What have I become!!!! LOL :)
