Stanley Erasmus Wood Achter was born Wednesday, May 30. Woo hoo!!!!
The long and short of it: Carla went to the clinic for an appointment and the doctor decided that her blood pressure was borderline high. Since the baby (aka Prince Clementine) was already full term plus, they decided to induce labor. Hah! We didn't envision it happening this way, but everything has turned out wonderfully.
Special thanks to MG for providing ice cubes and encouragement during the crucial final hours of labor!!
Stanley weighed in at 8 lbs., 10 oz. and was 20 inches long. He has his dad's toes and his mom's nose. Both are good things.

Nicole---PC told me (in baby code of course) that he can't wait to hear your stories. He thinks they'll come in handy for negotiating with mom down the line.
